The Range
Is A Lie.
You don't need 100 buckets of balls to break 80. You need deliberate, daily practice. Build your swing at home, in the office, or on the road.
By the numbers
- 72% of amateur swings faults stem from poor mobility, not mechanics. (TPI Data, 2023)
- 15 min Daily mirror work yields better motor pattern retention than weekly range sessions.
- 4.2 Average strokes saved per round by golfers who practice putting at home daily.
Stop Hitting
Start Training
Beating balls into a field with no feedback enforces bad habits. OngoGolf shifts the focus to constraint-based training. You don't need a simulator; you need a mirror, a wall, and intent.
Our app provides structured, 10-15 minute daily routines focusing on mechanics, mobility, and tempo.

The Four Pillars
01 / Mobility
You can't swing where your body won't go. We assess your physical limits and prescribe targeted T-spine and hip routines.
02 / Mechanics
Constraint-led drills strip away the ball to isolate motor patterns, ensuring your practice isn't just reinforcing bad habits.
03 / Speed
Distance is a prerequisite for scoring. Structured over-speed and heavy-club protocols integrated into your gym days.
04 / Mental
Process over outcome. Shifting your focus from the result of the shot to the execution of the intent during your round.
The average amateur practices wrong.
Block practice on the range (hitting 20 7-irons in a row to the same target) creates an illusion of competence that vanishes on the first tee. Random, variable, and constraint-based practice builds true skill.
Know Your Numbers
Stop guessing your distances. Use our Club Gapping Tool to identify overlaps and gaps in your bag setup based on your actual carry numbers.

Mobility First
You cannot swing into positions your body physically cannot reach. Early extension? Often a hip mobility issue. Loss of posture? Thoracic spine restriction.
Impact Dynamics
The only thing the golf ball knows is the clubface at impact. Master low point control and face-to-path relationships without hitting a full shot.
"Amateurs focus on the swing they want to have. Professionals focus on the strike they need to deliver."
Today's Protocol
- 1 5m T-Spine Opener
- 2 50 reps Wall Drill (Slow)
- 3 10m Putting Mirror
Micro-Dose Improvement
Our app generates a daily 15-minute protocol based on your current faults. You don't need a driving range to fix early extension; you need reps. Slow, deliberate, daily reps.
See how it works →The Real Setup Costs
You are led to believe you need thousands of dollars in tech to practice effectively at home. You don't.
| Tool | Purpose | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Full-Length Mirror | Visual feedback on takeaway, posture, and plane. | $20 |
| Impact Bag | Learning to deliver shaft lean and a square face. | $35 |
| Alignment Sticks | Setup checks, swing path gates, and body lines. | $5 (Driveway markers) |
| A Wall | Fixing early extension and sway. | Free |
The Launch Monitor Trap
Launch monitors (Trackman, GCQuad, Mevo) are phenomenal tools for measuring the *result* of a strike. They are invaluable for club fitting and gapping.
However, when making a mechanical swing change, a launch monitor can be detrimental. Seeing the ball flight (or numbers) immediately triggers the brain to manipulate the hands to "fix" the flight, rather than committing to the uncomfortable, new motor pattern you are trying to learn.
This is why we prescribe mirror work and wall drills *without* a ball. Remove the result to fix the cause.
